I TiVo a lot of television during the week – Heroes, The Young & the Restless (which I’m actually interested in the escaped Sheila Carter story), Law & Order (CI & SVU), all of WWE, TNA, Star Trek (TOS, Voyager, and Enterprise), Oprah, American Dad, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force (take a chill pill Boston), Ugly Betty, Two and a Half Men, The New Adv. of Old Christine, Saturday Night Live, MAD TV, etc etc. Tonight was one of my favorites…
“I’m Chris Hansen with Dateline…what are you doing here?”
I actually had two friends over to watch tonights episode…it is becoming must see television – and a great time to socialize with friends. I hear they may be coming to South Carolina soon. Tune in next week though, when they visit Texas!
I watched this past week’s episode of “SNL”, with host Drew Barrymore. Near the end of the show they had a “commercial” for Nelson’s Baby Toupees – self explanatory. It made me laugh a little (babies with wigs on), I probably would have laughed more if I had not already seen it! They blatantly lifted the idea from Second City Television - Episode 25 from the first season, which aired in 1977 – a “commercial” for Tiny Tops – hairpieces for babies.
Anyway…I want to say thanks to the guys (Mike B, Tyshion, everybody who puts in a good word for my work!) who made it possible for me to get in to shoot Hermie Sadler’s upcoming UWF shows. I’m really looking forward to being at these shows. I found out last night that Team Macktion is booked – so it should make for a fun weekend. Maybe I’ll get a picture in PWI one day – a color one this time.
I just purchased a Sirius Stiletto SL10. Should give me something to do with any downtime I encounter away from my car unit.
Reading “Fade” by Robert Cormier.
A big change may be coming up in my personal life – nothing major to worry about right now, but something that will have an impact. To me it symbolizes the beginning of the end of some things.
I had a massage today, and before you even think it – it didn’t involve the “happy ending”. This was professional. I used to go at least twice a month, and it’s a practice that I have decided to get back into. I’m always afraid that I’ll wind up farting on the table tough.
