So finally faithful readers, here they are…
(Also, the show pics are up on the main site, also updates to the galleries.)
First our room at the Anderson Ocean Club:
The view from our room…
If you look closely on the bottom right side of this shot, you will see where we found ER that morning, asleep near the sand…rough night for him…
A new video from Highspots.com, with our friend the lovely Daffney…check it out!
And ain’t that a lovely picture there on the cover?
An update to the “Foto Flashback” gallery on the site!
I know this is tacky to do, and a little bit of “self-marking”, but I’m doing it anyway. Here is my check from Sports & Entertainment Publications for my pics in PWI.
So I’m finally getting a little caught up from the CWA Myrtle Beach/Andrews trip…and now I’ve forgotten most of what I was going to write.
Just some observations:
How many “official” welcome centers does Myrtle Beach have?
Thanks to Tyshion for not cutting me with his blade.
To the Macks, we all know: “You pee-peed!…now get up!”
Stoney, check your freezer.
Joey Silvia, glad to see that contrary to what ER told me, you are not MIA.
The room ER and I got was beautiful, very nicely furnished. Pictures forthcoming. Yes, once again I slept with ER – it wasn’t bad, other then how loud his voice gets late at night.
I spent way too much money on this trip…way too much.
Meow.
Stay tuned to CWA – lots of great stuff coming up from this company.

Now on to PWI. I think that it is every wrestling photographer’s dream (at least those that are actual wrestling fans) to make it into Pro Wrestling Illustrated. I grew up reading the “Apter Mags” – PWI, Sports Review Wrestling, Inside Wrestling et al. It opened up the world of wrestling for me at a time when I could not get enough of it. I loved reading about the other territories, promotions; wrestlers I had never seen or heard of, and seeing the accompanying pictures.
My dream was realized this month with the publication of PWI’s Wrestling Annual: The Year in Review (dated April 2008). Yes, I did get paid, and yes I bought three copies. What makes this milestone even better is that the first of the two photos is of our buddy Kirby Mack. A guy who eats/breathes/lives wrestling more than anyone I know on the indy wrestling scene.
I am hoping to see more of my photos in there, but if not – I’m happy with what I’ve obtained so far.
Stay tuned for the pics…
