The United Wrestling Federation, already headlined by the UWF’s debut of Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler and Terri Runnels, has announced that Samoa Joe will defend the TNA World Title on May 2 in Harrisonburg, VA. The other three participants will be determined in blind draw qualifying matches at the UWF event on Thursday, May 1st at Colonial Harley-Davidson/Buell.

In addition to Lawler, Runnels, and Samoa Joe, the UWF shows on May 1 and May 2 also include Jerry Lynn, Joey Matthews, Matt “formerly Spike Dudley” Hyson, Shark Boy, “Cowboy” James Storm, The Motor City Machine Guns, Daffney, TNA Knockout ODB, Scotty 2 Hotty, and many more stars.

This past weekend we hit AWC – All-Star Wrestling of the Carolinas in Marion, NC…and NWA Anarchy in Cornelia,GA.

Good to see Big Daddy Z again and some guys I haven’t spoken to in awhile…The turn-out was not that great, and I’m hopeful that it picks up for him…Rocky & Jesse (many names for him) Starr kept me laughing in their main event match…I think Z runs a good promotion and I wish him luck.

Saturday was NWA Anarchy…good to be back, 12/29 was the last day I was there…several new faces…I’m going to try and hit Anarchy more this year.  I found out that Phill Shatter really hit a gusher during his Hardcore Hell match against Iceberg – really hate that I missed that…it would have made great photos!

I think several folks were surprised that I remembered how to get back to Anarchy!

No shows this coming weekend…UWF for May 2 in Harrisonburg,VA and possibly Anarchy again on May 3.

Good show last night in York,SC from CWA.  I am assuming it was the debut of Dr. X in South Carolina.  He was bested by Jake Manning for the ZERO1-MAX United States Open-weight title.

Charlie Dreamer is now a 3x CWA champion after winning the belt back from Steve Corino last night…

Team Macktion and the Elite Icons had their final confrontation in York last night in a 60 minute Iron Man Match – very tiring to me, I can’t imagine being one of the five guys in the ring (I include the ref, Charles Richardson, who did all the matches including this main event).

Stoney Hooker had his head shaved by Caleb Konley in retaliation for his own shearing in Andrews, SC.  Stoney’s people are begging me not to put one particular photo online – but I’m afraid I’ll have to do it.

One of the busier weekends I have had in a long time is over.  Saturday I was running from 1pm until midnight.

Had lunch with Ole Anderson and his wife, Peggy Lathan and Clay Sweet at Calvert’s in Columbus.  Great time just listening to Ole talk.  The “No Cussing” sign had to be pointed out a few times for him.

Great time at the show, had a better turn out than I expected.   The match of the night in my opinion was Adam Jaxon v Ken Magnum.  There was an intensity to their match that was very evident.  Also glad to see our friend Ostgard at the show, I didn’t even know he was booked.

I got a call from “eagle-eye” Thomas this afternoon informing me that I had another picture published in a PWI magazine…Check it out…it’s actually on the “Inside Wrestling” side of the below magazine, page 16…Mr Wrestling III drop-kicking Caleb Konley…I didn’t even know anything about it, but my head is busting!
